All In the Details

My floral-designer sister is coming for a visit tomorrow along with my mother, and she will be arranging the flowers for Eustacia's grad party. One of the things she'll be using for a "vase" is a miniature watermelon with colorful flowers sticking artfully from carefully placed carvings.

With that in mind, guess what this picture is cropped from? Click on it for the full image.

You are a truly strange person.

BAH! I could have sworn that was some sort of scary sock monkey close up. I'm still confused but delighted by the full shot. :) A very whimsical fruiting indeed!

You think I'm strange, Dive? hee hee. I didn't make this thing myself. It was part of a display on the cruise we took at New Years.

Shan, whimsical fruit indeed.

Lynn, but it's actually the whole thing, whatever it is. Glad to see you up and around, Lynn.

I'm guessing some fruit art on a swizzle stick in a cocktail of some sort. Perhaps watermelon juice and vodka.
