Scout on the Front Page

I have a story in the paper today that I think you'll find interesting, if not cleanly written. I actually made mental notes today comparing my original submission to the edited piece, so now I know what not to do next time. Every day is a learning experience, isn't it?

Anyway, here's the story.

Cool! Robyn the front page journalist!
It's a great piece (as always) and it is a pleasure to watch your writing career blossoming.

Hey! I know Patrick and Lori. And you do too!

We sure have good taste in friends.

Not only did I learn some local news, I was inspired!

Great work!

Well done Robyn! The front page feels so good doesn't it. It's always a learning experience, with the Subs changing your text; it never changes, however experienced you get so it's one of those things you have to live with unfortunately.

Great article, well done, Scoopgirl. x

Wow Robyn. Ditto Dive's comments. How fantastic that the paper put this piece on the front page, it's such a heartwarming, inspirational story and of course, beautifully written.
